Finally the water has warmed up on the backyard pond to the point where the largemouth and bluegill have become active in the evenings. I attempted to take a fish rising to an indiscernible hatch but I guess my imitations were not up to par. Finally I was able to take a gill stripping a hot pink "D" style spey fly. As always Hunter was more than happy to come along for the ride.
