Consent Decree, Onondaga Lake

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), New York State Department of Law, and Honeywell International (Honeywell) have reached an agreement on a Consent Decree that requires the company to conduct a cleanup of contaminated sediments in Onondaga Lake in accordance with the Record of Decision (ROD) that was issued by the NYSDEC and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) on July 1, 2005. The proposed Consent Decree is a legal agreement which requires Honeywell to design and implement the cleanup plan.
