Afternoon Delight

Canadaway is low and clearing. Looks like it got trampled hard this weekend. Fresh Korker scrapes, torn up parking lots and bent herbaceous growth along angler paths told the story of the last two days. Although angler pressure was light this morning, the fish were nowhere to be found. Canadaway tends to fish better for me in higher stained flows. I headed to a smaller tributary where I struck chrome.

Hi, Steele, I run the Chautauqua Creek Journal site, and that's my photograph in your new banner. You're free to use it- I just don't understand why you didn't photoshop out the fisherman's boots along with the rest of him? Strange stuff. If you ever want to explore some of the lesser known areas of Chautauqua Creek drop me an e-mail at Tight lines.
